JROTC Greyhounds
About Us
The JROTC program is designed to teach high school students the value of citizenship, leadership, service to the community, personal responsibility, and a sense of accomplishment, while instilling in them self-esteem, teamwork, and self discipline.
Courses from the JROTC can be used to meet the 2 Elective Credits or the 4 Elective credit in a four course concentration.
Battalion Commander
BN CDR: D. Frank
The job of the Battalion Commander is to take charge of the whole Battalion and is responsible for all battalion events. The battalion commander also provides guidance to all of their staff to make sure it runs smoothly.
Battalion Command Sergeant Major
BN CSM: N. Sarria
The CSM's Job is to train and oversee training of Drill and Color Guard, hold formations and accounts for personnel at all battalion level events. They also act as a catalyst between the cadets and the chain of command.
​Battalion Executive Officer (XO)
BN XO: CPT Coronado
The XO's job is to make sure that the entire staff is doing their job. They are also second in command so if the Battalion Commander is not there the XO is in charge.
Administration Officer
S1: E. Castiglione
The job of the S-1 is to keep up with all human resources including personal readiness, personal service and headquarters management. They also provide administrative support for the battalion.
Security And Intelligence Officer
S2: S. Valencia
The job of the S-2 is to keep up with our arms room and give out weather announcements. They plan and conduct the battalion training events.
Training Officer
S3: D. Chang
The job of the S-3 is to train the battalion and to supervise all training of the battalion. They also plan all training events for the cadets.
Supply Officers
S4: M. Simon
The job of the S-4 is to keep up with our supply room and to issue uniforms. They also make sure everyone has what they need before we go out and do an event.
Public Affairs Officer
S5: J. Sarria
The job of S-5 is to take pictures of all events and publish a newsletter every month. They are also responsible for all cadet recruiting.
Coordinating Public Affairs Officer
S6: D. Sarria
The job of the S-6 is to work hand in hand with the S-5 in making sure that all events are photographed and to make sure the newsletter gets out on time, as well as to help with all cadet recruiting.
